I set up Garden Machinery in 1999 after the birth of my first son, to enable me to combine childcare with repairing any machine that arrived in the work shop.  I soon realised that there was a demand in the Chew Valley area. At first I only serviced and repaired mowers, hedge trimmers and chain saws, but it always surprised me what can turn up.

I received a phone call one day from someone having a problem with their "Billy Goat" my first thought was they needed a vet but I soon realised there is a garden vacuum called a "Billy Goat".  A  repair was made and the machine sucked up everything in sight.

Some machines when they arrive are beyond repair so I started to sell brand new machinery. I believe that it is important that a customer should be able to try a piece of equipment before they buy.  Being located at Glebe Farm Stanton Drew, there is plenty of space to demonstrate and try out the equipment and advise the customer on the best choice for them.
